Escorted Mobility Van

The Escorted Mobility Van compliments the existing Volunteer Escorted Transportation program and helps remove the barriers experienced in accessing medical care.

The van is capable of transporting wheelchairs, including a variety of other mobility assisted devices and additional passengers.

Escorted Transportation

Volunteer drivers are available for long distance and local trips for medical appointments, shopping or social trips. Escorted transportation includes kitchen table to kitchen table service where the client is picked up at their home to take them to their appointment, escort them inside, wait during the appointment and escort them home.

Fee: per trip. Please be aware there is a rate schedule that is calculated based on distance, number of stops, and gas prices.
